To log in to Canvas by Westcoast, simply enter the email address and password associated with your Westcoast Reseller account into the fields provided.
If unsuccessful, you will be redirected to the same page with an error message stating why the action could not be completed.
On the occasion that you’re unable to login due to misplaced / incorrect details, please click the ‘Forgot your Password?’ link below. This will redirect you to you to the main Westcoast site, where you can follow a set of steps to attain new credentials.
On successfully logging into the system, you will be presented with the assets page.
This will be the first page you’re presented with once logging into the portal.
You can alter the type of collateral using the filter, ‘Product type’ located in the sidebar on the left of the page.
Once choosing a type, the filter below labelled ‘Vendors’ will update with the vendors available. Clicking on these vendors will filter the results live on the page, and present you with the corresponding collateral. Each vendor may also contain sub-categories to further enhance your searching options. These sub-categories will become available to select once their parent vendor has been checked.
When hovering over a collateral item, you’ll be presented with the option to ‘quick view’. Clicking this will trigger a popup with a full image of the collateral.
To choose the collateral, simply click on the text, located directly below the image.
In the sidebar on the left, you will see an image of the collateral you have selected. If this is incorrect, click on the ‘choose assets’ tab at the top of the page to go back to the previous step.
Details to go on collateral
These fields are mandatory as the data submitted will be imported into your chosen collateral.
Above the ‘Upload / Replace Logo’ option, you may see an image of a logo already present. This will be the logo associated with your account. If you wish the use this logo within this collateral, please do not upload a replacement logo. If you do wish to use a different logo, click ‘Replace Logo’ and choose your file from the file manager.
Please ensure the file type is png (.png) and at least 500px wide. Any deviation from these terms will result in an error and your collateral will not be generated.
Once the fields have been filled out, click the button labelled ‘Proceed’ in the bottom right of the page.
If you'd like to receive your collateral via email, please click the 'Send as an email' button.
This will send your generated collateral to the email address associated with your Westcoast account.
If you'd like it sent to a different email address, simply click the checkbox labelled 'Send to a different email'.
You will be confronted with a text field for you to enter the desired address. When complete, click the 'Send as an email'.
Once received by your mail client, you will be able to send to your customers via the forwarding functionality.
You will be presented with an on-screen preview of the customised collateral. The button labelled ‘Download’ at the bottom of the screen will initiate a download of the document to your local machine. The extension of the collateral will depend on the type selected previously.
If your downloaded email appears to have white lines going through it, don't be alarmed as this is normal on HTML emails before they are sent. We suggest sending a test email to yourself to make sure it is appearing correctly before reporting it as a problem.
When complete, please click the Canvas by Westcoast logo on the top left of the page to be redirected to the ‘Choose Assets’ page or click ‘Logout’ on the top right of the page to log out of the portal.
